Proposals for text-based works must be submitted as a <em>single<\/em> Microsoft Word file that does not exceed 10 MB and uses double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font.<\/p>\n<p>Completed proposals must include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A cover page including the authors\u2019 names, a 60-word biographical statement for each, postal and email addresses, (mobile) telephone numbers, and the entire submission\u2019s word count (including notes and captions)<\/li>\n<li>A second page that lists the title and a 250-word abstract of the proposed piece (<em>Note<\/em>: Unless the submission is intended for the <em><a href=\"http:\/\/artjournal.collegeart.org\/?page_id=14064\">Conversations<\/a><\/em> category, this page should not mention the authors\u2019 names in case the proposal advances to peer review)<\/li>\n<li>The full text, including in-text illustration thumbnails (<em>Note<\/em>: Unless the submission is intended for the <a href=\"http:\/\/artjournal.collegeart.org\/?page_id=14064\"><em>Conversations<\/em><\/a> category, these pages should not mention the authors\u2019 names)<\/li>\n<li>An illustration list, including full captions, image descriptions, and notes on permission sources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When ready, please submit your complete proposal to:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Andy Campbell<\/strong><br \/>Editor-in-Chief,\u00a0<em>Art Journal Open<br \/><\/em><a href=\"mailto:art.journal.open@collegeart.org\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ec008c;\"><a href=\"mailto:art.journal.open@collegeart.org\">art.journal.open@collegeart.org<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All texts should be between 2,000 and 4,000 words in length, including notes.
