Distance Learning

The new Distance Learning series asks how a specific, historical work of art or design can teach us to better navigate our ever-shifting, present-tense subjectivities and cultural practices.

Contributors are encouraged to make their submission timely and to view it as an opportunity to approach seemingly unassailable cultural circumstances with the aid of the critical insights and creative strategies imparted by a single, historic work of art or design.

Submissions can take the form of a short critical essay or an image- or multimedia-based project. In either case, please follow the appropriate submission guides lines, as found here.

For a recent example of a Distance Learning project, please see Kaira M. Cabañas, “Rosa enferma, Together Apart.”
